Terms of Use — Hooptimize

These Terms of Use (“Terms” or “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the Hooptimize website and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Agreement is between Alexis Charalampous, the creator and provider of Hooptimize (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and you, the user (“you” or “your”).

By creating an account or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.

You may only use Hooptimize if you are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

1. Nature and Scope of the Services

Hooptimize is a free, AI-powered web platform designed to assist EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge users in improving their teams through data-based predictions and analysis.

The platform offers features including, but not limited to:

  • AI-generated performance projections and suggestions for your fantasy team,
  • Player comparison and matchup analytics,
  • Captaincy recommendations,
  • Injury insights and fixture difficulty ratings.

Hooptimize is strictly non-commercial:

  • No paid subscriptions
  • No advertisements
  • No commercial partnerships
  • No data resale or monetization of any kind

Our mission is to provide a community-driven, free tool for basketball fans and fantasy players.

1.1 AI-Generated Insights and Limitations

Hooptimize uses predictive models and public data to generate fantasy insights. All predictions are automated, may contain errors or inaccuracies, and should be interpreted as estimates, not certainties. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or outcome of any AI-generated recommendation.

Important:

  • The platform does not guarantee higher fantasy rankings or success in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge.
  • All outputs are for entertainment and informational purposes only.
  • You remain solely responsible for your fantasy selections and performance outcomes.

1.2 Data Handling and Privacy

We only collect basic login credentials (email and password) to allow users to create and manage their accounts.

We do not:

  • store, share, or sell user data,
  • retain any uploaded team information after logout,
  • track personal activity beyond what is essential for platform functionality.

2. User Obligations

When using Hooptimize, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Keep your password secure and confidential.
  • Use the platform solely for its intended purpose — assisting with EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge gameplay.

You may not:

  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Services.
  • Upload or transmit unlawful, offensive, or malicious content.
  • Use Hooptimize for any commercial, promotional, or resale purposes.

3. No Guarantee of Success

While Hooptimize leverages advanced prediction models, fantasy sports involve uncertainty. Player performance, injuries, and external factors may affect outcomes beyond our control.

Therefore:

  • Hooptimize does not guarantee any improvement, ranking, or success in the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge.
  • All insights should be viewed as guidance, not professional or guaranteed advice.

4. Availability of the Services

Hooptimize is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for continuous uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, designs, and code associated with Hooptimize are owned by Alexis Charalampous. Users may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any portion of the platform for commercial use. You may share screenshots or results for personal or non-commercial use with proper credit.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or representations, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, EuroLeague, EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge, or any related entities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hooptimize and its creator shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of the Services,
  • Reliance on AI-generated recommendations,
  • Loss of data, profits, or fantasy performance,
  • Service interruptions or technical issues.

You use Hooptimize at your own risk.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect improvements or regulatory changes. Updates will be posted on the website, and continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
